WiP: My first attempt at paper piecing was a success! Yay!

I am 1/4 done with my first star BOM.  Nothing to brag about, but it is my first attempt at paper piecing, and it didn’t go horribly wrong, so I’m stoked.  I think I psyched myself out, as it wasn’t that difficult.  I also did get some great instruction at the last Chicago Modern Quilt Guild Meeting from Wayne, and I have Betsy’s directions, and I did watch a few videos.  I still felt clueless when I began, but I went on, and it worked out fine.  Cookie for me!  Now I need to follow directions and print out more of the template so I can continue tomorrow, ‘cuz I definitely didn’t do that the first time.
